After a very long day, we finally arrived in Colombo. It was dark so it was hard to get an accurate first impression as all you could see were rabid dogs everywhere. However, when we arrivedat Moon-Bridge the next day, and saw all the beautiful flowers, sampled the amazing food, andwalked along the idyllic coastline, I knew I would love it here.

The highlight of my time here so far was visiting Jez-Look Batiks. The wonderful work she hasproduced is really inspiring, especially for me, as I took A Level textiles. Therefore, I am able toappreciate the time, energy and effort that went into the Batiks.
