Today there were 5 of us in Hiththatiya. The morning was pretty standard as far as pre-school goes. We sang songs, drew pictures and had fun with the little ones. The afternoon session however was exceptionally awesome! Despite constant rainfall, having the full number of kids (ages varying from 5-19 yrs) was not a problem. We are currently preparing for our end summer show, and spent the afternoon in stitches all round, attempting to teach the children our very visual dance routine to Ray Charles’ Shake your tail feathers. Much to the teacher’s amusement. It was totally knackering but also the most fun I’ve had for ages! Can’t wait to go back on Monday and pick up where we left off!
