Our final day in Ahangama.

We first got the bus into Weligama to visit Janani and her family. She hosted us with tea and biscuits (as usual), showing us photos of the visit Rachel and I made to her sister’s home in Colombo and her own recent trip to Kandy. We all then went into the town centre to buy gifts and visited the excellent juice bar near the bus station. I had mango juice with ice cream – beautiful!

After lunch we headed to Easy Beach Guesthouse for our final chill out session accompanied by a Lion beer or two.

That evening we the girls had a final dance session. We had lots of visitors to say goodbye. And we packed the last of our belongings.
